Hi, so my ethernet randomly stopped working today, seemed like a regular internet crash because it was just right out of the blue. However, it's been a few hours now and it still isn't working. When I used the troubleshooter on windows it said 'One or more network protocols are missing on this computer', which I googled and found instructions on how to fix it with command prompt.

I used this (>netsh int ip reset c:resetLog.txt) after giving permission to do it in the registry, it said it worked and to restart my computer. However, when I restarted, the problem was still there, and when I tried to reset it again, the permissions to do that command was gone again, so I don't know if the reset really worked. I re-gave myself the permission and redid the command, restarted computer, and again nothing worked and permissions were gone again.

I also updated/uninstalled/reinstalled the driver for my ethernet card. Didn't help at all.
